The Learning Resources Centres are always seeking to improve the services provided to students and staff.

Please use this forum to tell us about recommended resources - books, magazines, audio-visual media, software, equipment, subscription websites - that you would like to be available in your LRC.

My role at Oaklands is to support learners in their independent learning skills: to promote active blended-learning, to encourage the proactive use of the internet when researching assignment topics, and to hone writing skills with an additional emphasis on the awareness of plagiarism/usage of referencing.

In efforts to reorganise and revitalise the workings of Oaklands' LRCs to encourage students' independent study skills in a productive environment, we are coming together 'to drive change'.
