Provides students with an indepth knowledge and understanding of children 0 to 7Yrs 11mths. You can work unsuperivsed in a setting with this level 3 qualification.  In the first year of the course the topics you will cover are Observation and Assessment Unit 1, Work with Young Children Unit 2, Foundations to Caring unit 3, The Developing Child unit 4, Play, Curriculum and Learning unit 6, Work with Babies in the First Year of Life unit 7 and Anti-Dicriminatory Practice and Anti- Bias Practice unit 10.
